The Music Talent Development Centre (MTDC) Band Programme is a new initiative by the Ministry of Education, Education Programmes Division to provide developmental opportunities for musically talented students to harness their musical potential. Housed in Ang Mo Kio Secondary School, the MTDC Band training programme includes group instrumental tuition by professional instructors, combined band practices and theory instruction.

Be entertained as the band performs familiar favourites such as Light Cavalry Overture, Hobbits Dance and Hymn, March-Bou-Shu, Dance Fever, and Earth, Wind & Fire in Concert, under the baton of their conductor, Mr Brando Tan. This evening’s concert will also feature Flight: Adventure In The Sky, a piece specially dedicated to the MTDC Band Programme, by local composer, Mr Benjamin Yeo.

Other than that, the saxophone, brass and percussion ensembles will also be featured! :)
