So I still remember the Euphos. (: Hey guys, Kang Ming from HCI/Tubas here. 1st to post on this ultimate blog of coolness, so it's an honour! (: (Apart from Nicole's post.) I should really refrain from too many smiley faces. It'll bore you guys, yeah? (almost put one there. phew.) Few things I wanna talk about here. (: Firstly, let's thank our dear Nicole for putting up this wonderful blog! (: Although it's black and white (apart from the tagboard), I'm sure it'll soon be colourful due to the posts here, yeah? So spice it up with some posts when you have free time! Yes, like now I have WAY TOO MUCH TIME to spare. So make use of this blog to advertise your concerts, put up some fun stuff and ideas and so on. (: We just had a fun fun camp! And a fun fun exchange with the Thai Band! Of course, don't forget to thank our dear Ms Shirin Foo, for organising them! She has taken much time off from her work, other affairs (and also her iPhone playing time) to help us!*clapclapclap* Thanks, Mama Foo (: I'm sure all of us would agree that this camp definitely bonded us, and prepared us for the End-of-Camp concert. Personally, I would like to thank each and every one of you guys for being so fun-loving and enthusiastic about this programme so far. And our performance for the concert was somewhat commendable, so kudos to you guys! Thanks for brightening up my MTDC life so far! (: Of course, we still have a long road ahead of us, 13 pracs gone, 21 pracs left, 1 performance left. So, our aim now, although far, is our Esplanade performance. So, our attention will also be slowly shifted from section/ensemble, to the big picture - the entire band. We will now have to blend into not one colour, but many. Imagine you're light green. Light green now must not only blends with dark green, but it has to attempt to blend into red, yellow, purple, blue and many others. Can we do it? We can, but we'll also need to concentrate more on our individual work. From what Leanne said during the feedback session, we can think to ourselves. Have we done a good job ourselves first, before contributing to the entire band? Let's work on ourselves, before we work together, yeah? (: Also, we'll also have to bond together more! (: So this brings me to my main topic (although there's many in this post,) which is the MTDC outing. (: There will most probably be an MTDC outing organised in this holiday season, and the latest we'll have it will probably be March holidays. So, we need valuable ideas and advice from you guys on what you'd prefer to do. Feel free to drop me an email at wongkangming@hotmail.com or msn chat with me regarding your ideas.
